Christmas Hanger You will need 1 piece double sided paper or card Small Christmas embellishment Ribbon   optional Paper folder Double sided tape You may remember these from your childhood, we used to fill them with popcorn and sweets   and hang them on the tree.   You can leave the ribbon off as I have done and fill them with little bits and pieces for a gift. The size of your finished hanger will depend on the size of the original paper The ones in the photos are 30cm   x 30cm sheets. Fold the paper from the bottom corner to the top to make a triangle Fold the right hand corner over to meet the left hand side of the triangle Fold the other side over to match Fold down the front flap and secure with a bit of d/s tape Now decorate as you want. A sweet little way to share your favourite Christmas recipes with your friends. I have used heavy chipboard for the album itself .  We had our regular Create and Chat last Friday night at Craft Mad  We made these adorable little milk cartons. Mine is now filled with sweets and waiting to go under the tree for my friend. Sara Kay Altered Gift Bag I have shown you this bag before but several people have asked for  a tutorial so at long last here it is . Using a plain gift bag, remove the handles from the bag and retain to be reattached later. Cut a piece of patterned paper the same size as the front of the bag and then attach to the bag with double sided tape or glue.   Cut an aperture approximately 10cm x 7 cm slightly off centre in the front of the bag. Using double sided glue attach a piece of clear acetate on to the inside of the bag to make a window. Make a frame around the window in your bag. I have used a Spellbinders Scalloped Edge Frame. Glue 4 strips of coordinating ribbon across the top of the bag with glue or double sided tape and matching flowers with 3d sticky dots around the bottom right hand corner of the window. Cut out and “build” the Sara Kaye 3d image and attach to the left hand side of the window. Add the bling flourishes. Reattach the handles and make 2 small tags and attach to th

A gift for the Baby of the Family For this project I have chosen a clear plastic paint tin however any see through container would work well. Glue ribbon around the top and bottom of the tin. Glue alphabet stickers slightly above the ribbon and decorate with stickers I have chosen stars and a best wishes sticker. Tie ribbons around the handles. Add some shredded cellophane to the base of the tin and insert a soft toy or gift of your choice. Cover the lid with a Spellbinders die I have used a Shapeabilities Lattice Pendant and added an embellishment on the top.

“My Pet” Brag Books & Matching Cards These quick and simple little albums would be the perfect gift for an animal lover. Instructions for Albums Using the plain Bazzill mark and cut 3 x 15cm wide strips.   Join together with double sided tape to make one long strip. Measure and score and   at 12 cm, 24cm, 36cm, 48cm, 60cm,72cm and 84 cm. Cut off excess. Now fold, using mountain and valley folds alternately. This should make 7 pages for your album. To decorate the album cut a piece of Birch patterned paper 14cm x 11cm and attach to the cover using D/s glue or glue of your choice. For these album I have used Spellbinders scalloped circles in various sizes, Spellbinders Labels 6, both sides of the Birch patterned paper and coordinating Bazzill. Print a name for the album and attach to the cover. Stickers have also been added to the various pages Using double sided tape attach a ribbon   and tie a bow. .....so time to start thinking about some gifts that you can make for your family and friends. Today I have some trinket boxes which I made from paper mache boxes from the bargain shop. These cute trinket boxes can be made from any size or shaped boxes. I have recycled a couple of little boxes I found in my stash. Cover the base and the lids of the boxes in patterned paper of your choice. I have used double sided tape but glue of your choice would work just as well. Now glue a strip of ribbon around the side of the base and then another ribbon/ lace/ braid of your choice just above the first one (see detail photo) Glue a strip of lace around the edge of the lid and then a piece of ribbon/lace / braid above that on the flat surface of the box. Cut a small piece of card in a shape to suit the box. I have used a Spellbinders Scalloped oval on one box and a heart on the other. Cut out and “build” your Sara Kay image and attach it to the top of the box. Add pearls or rhinestone and charms
