Bazzill Patterned Papers

Blue Edge Crafts has taken delivery of a shipment of new Bazzill patterned papers and I have been very fortunate to have been able to have a play with them this week. This is the sixth and last card in the Grandma's Feather bed range . Wedding Explosion Box

I have been asked for a tutorial for this project so here it is. INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE AN EXPLOSION BOX 1)     Using a 12’ x 12’ sheet of white Bazzill , score and fold 4” in from each end. 2)     Using the fold lines as guides, cut the squares from the corners on 3 sides only. 3)     On the last side, draw a pencil line 1/2 “in, cut this line to the corresponding fold line. 4)     To decorate the outside of the box and using the eCraft and the Jen Allyson Designs Image card, Category 2, Frames, cut 4 x 4” Image 9 Frame 3 from black Bazzill. 5)       Using the same design card and image, cut 4 X 3 ½”frames from white Bazzill. 6)     From the same design card cut 4 x 3” frames from black glitter paper. 7)     Using Jen Allyson Celebrates image card, Category 2, Weddings, cut 4 x 2 ½”   red Bazzill and 4 x 2 ½” white Bazzill Scalloped Edge Heart Cut Outs. 8)     Using the photo as a guide and using either glue or double sided tape, join 1 x 4”, 1 x 3 ½”, 1 x 3” together and then add the

Valentines Day Heart Sweet Holder

Valentines Heart Sweet Holder For this project you will need: 1 30x 30 cm sheet double sided patterned paper Joycraft   Heart die cut Heart punch Flowers Ribbon Greeting Kindy Glitz 2 x brads Instructions Using the template provided, cut out the box. Score and fold on the marked lines. Glue the box together. Cut a 2cm wide strip of paper for the handle and attach to the sides of the box with brads. Decorate the front of the box as you wish. I have used ribbon, a Joycrafts   Heart die which I have enhanced with Kindy Glitz, felt flowers, a punched glitter flower and a stamped greeting.                          Thank you for visting my blog this week I hope you have enjoyed my creations.

Valentines Day Sweet Holders

Spellbinders Treat Holder A sweet little treat holder for your Valentine For this project you will need : Spellbinders Grands Labels Eleven. Grand Calibur Machine. Double sided Patterned paper Flower punches or paper flowers if you prefer. Ribbon. Greeting and a tag. Instructions Cut a Grand Labels Eleven die from Bazzill Red Love Potion paper. Score and fold in half then score and fold 1cm either side of the centre line. This will create a little base for your holder.                                                                            Optional step: If you would like to decorate the inside cut two alternately sized labels and attach to the inside for your message. Decorate the front of the treat holder with flowers, a tag with a greeting. Punch a hole in the centre at the top and thread a ribbon through and tie a bow. Pyramid Sweet Box For this box you will need:   Patterned paper 20cm x 11cm ( I have used Bazzill Heart Attack paper ) Embellishments Ribbon or braid Instructio

Valentines Day Gift Box

Valentine’s Day Box For this project you will need: 4 pieces heavy chipboard 4cm x 10cms (sides) 1 piece heavy chipboard 4cm x 9cm (base) 1 30cm x30cm sheets of 2 different patterned papers to cover the inside and outside of the boards . I have used Bazzill patterned paper .Love birds on the outside and Sweethearts flowers on the inside Ribbon Embellishments of your choice Stamp pad Glue /double sided tape/modge podge Sanding block Instructions Cut the paper slightly larger than the boards and attach to the outside with glue/doublesided tape/modge podge. Turn over and repeat on the other side of the boards. Allow to dry and sand all the edges for a neat finish. Ink the edges with a matching ink pad. You may need to do this several times for a good coverage depending on the colour you are using. (see photo below, this is after one inking) Punch a hole in each corner of the 4 4cmx 9cm boards. Do not punch holes in the base.                                              Now you are ready

Spellbinders Cards Tutorial

Card #1 Insert photo “Card 1” Using a white C6 card, cut and attach a piece of patterned paper measuring 14cm x 10 cm. Cut a large Spellbinder Scalloped Oval from coordinating Bazzil and a Spellbinders Classic    Oval from white Bazzill. Join these two together. Cut 2 more ovals in the same colours, this time in the second smallest die. Join together. Punch and assemble the flowers of your choice and using glue dots attach them to the ovals as shown in the photograph. Add a greeting and a butterfly and your first card is complete. Card 2 a piece of patterned paper measuring 14cm x 10 cm. Using a white C6 card cut and attach i nsert photo “C ard 2” Using the Renaissance Hearts Spellbinders die cut the largest pendant in coordinating Bazzil and the 2 smaller centre pendants in remaining colours. Optional step: To accentuate the cut out pattern of the pendant, glue a piece of white Bazzill behind the large pendant and small pieces of the third colour behind the small diamond shapes on t

Craft Mad Card Sketch Challenge Valentines Day

Sketch Challenge time at Craft Mad. As Valentines Day is coming up soon, this months theme is Hearts . Here is my card for the month. I have used a 6"x6" card and cut a heart shape from the front using a Spellbinders Nested Heart. I added a layer of red card inside with a cuttlebugged layer on top of that. I then suspended a heart on a ribbon in the aperture. Finished with a Sticker Store greeting.
