A perfect gift for a new Mum, Birth Announcements, Thank You cards and Christening invitations presented in a pretty box which can be used as a keepsake box. A few little extras for the new arrival complete the box. Instructions Box:   Cover the outside lid, sides and inside lid of the box with patterned paper. I have used Birch paper- Baby ABC, Baby Blue Striped and Baby Blue Glitter from Blue Edge Crafts. Add embellishments of your choice to both the inside and outside lid. I have added Baby embellishments from Blue Edge Crafts and a chipboard word which I painted and coated with Dimensional Magic and a rhinestone word. Cards: Make 10 C6 sized (15cm x 11cm) cards by adding a layer of patterned paper measuring   (14cm x 10cm ) to the front of the card, add a tag and a “Thank You” sticker. Make 20 smaller cards 10 cm x 10 cm and add a layer of patterned paper (9cm x 9cm). Attach tags to the front of each card and add “It’s a Boy” stickers to

This is my Scotty Bear. I made this bear some time back but he remains one of my favourites. I also made his jacket, kilt and tam o'shanter, actually I made about 4 jackets before I had one that looked reasonable enough to use. As you can tell I am not very good at sewing so I was very happy and surprised when he was awarded first prize at the Queensland Royal Show.            

  We have a new challenge over at Craft Mad this year . It is names Projects Tips and Techniques. Each month we will have a new challenge and we have started the year with a calendar. You can find instructions for the calendar  here

Our December Craft Mad swap went over two months this time. These are the cards I made for my partner,Tracey.  

Napkin Cards   I received some very pretty serviettes in a Christmas parcel. As you can imagine my thoughts went straight to cardmaking so today I have these Napkin Cards to show you. They have been ironed onto the cards using glad wrap and I have 3d-ed sections of each card, unfortunately this is a bit hard to see in the photos, and added some flowers, rhinestones and kindyglitz   

I made one of these Twiddleybitz chairs for a friend and the other one for myself. I made them both into pin cushions.

Today I have  a little gift bag I made to hold a gift card for Christmas.  It is a Jinkys tutorial.       The bag opens up and I have made a cupcake to go inside and hold the card.       

  I made this Easel Card Calendar as a gift for one of my family. I have used Graphic 45 papers.

Santa Pants   I recently purchased a 12 days of Christmas tutorial from Jinxy's Crafts and this is one of the patterns included in the tutorials.   I filled them with sweets etc for some of the men on my Christmas list.

Our monthly swap at Craft Mad is running over two months this time so I thought I would share a couple of angels we made for our Craft Mad online Christmas party.      

 Money Box Swap   After the last Craft Mad Meet Up and Retreat we decided to have a money box swap amongst the members who planned on coming along next  year  to help out with air fares and accomodation and other expenses.  This is the money box I made from a white wood chest which I painted and decorated with paper and tags etc.                                                                                                                             Have a great weekend
