The second new Graphic 45 papers are named By The Sea. As the name suggests there are lots of nautical scenes in this one.  I used  a square card layered with linen card and By The Sea paper, added a die cut card and cut around several parts from other pages for the scene along the bottom of the card. The new Graphic 45 papers have arrived . The first range I have been playing with is Botanical Tea. I really love the soft colours in these papers. I made a tag using a die cut card from the Botanical Tea range. I backed  it with one of the patterned papers and  added Green Tara flowers and a Spellbinders die and Cheery Lyn butterfly as well as a lace trim.

I have used a 5x7 card layered with brown linen card and  Botanical Tea paper. I added a panel  of chipboard layered with Botanical Tea paper, then a die cut card, a stamp and a flower. A friend recently asked me to make a card for a family member . I had very specific instructions, had to have some trees, gravel and creek/water, maybe some flowers like lavender, a dog and some chooks. I will admit to being a bit stumped for a while, mostly on the scale I needed to use for trees etc . I finally came across this digi image of some trees so I did my background with ripped card then printed the trees over the top and added some stamped trees as well. Flower Soft became the "lavender" the chooks were cut from Graphic 45 French Country paper and the dog is a Sticker Store clear sticker which I layered with black card and reversed. I finished off by chalking a few highlights and adding a greeting. Our friend was very happy with the result. I would like to share this card in the following challenge: Crafting From The Heart

Happy Birthday Ruth Hope your day is extra special Easter is just around the corner so I have made a few cards which I would like to share with you . I have used a 4x6 white card with a layer of linen car embossed with Contour Creation Swiss dots embossing folder, added a paper doily, Dienamics oval doily die, Hearty Crafts 3d image, ribbon and a greeting.  I would like to enter this card into the following challenge: Artistic Inspirations   My Craft Spot Through The Craft Room Door   Divas by Design    

I also like to add a little extra to my swap parcel and at the moment the favourite seems to be a tag. I cut a tag and added an embossed  layer of Couture Creations Entangled . I then added the washi tape which was the theme of the swap. I then added a silk flower and ribbon and a greeting.

This is my second card for my partner in the Craft Mad March swap. I started with a 6"square kraft coloured card. I added a layer of black card and a layer of cream card . The bird and cage is Spellbinders Bird Sanctuary and the flourish is a Cheery Lyn die. I have added the washi tape from my stash, Green Tara flowers  and a Sticker Store greeting.       I would like to enter this card into the following challenge: Divas By Design 

Our theme for the Craft Mad swap for March was to make two cards for our partner using Washi Tape. This is my first card. I started with a 5x7 card added a layer of black card and a layer of white card which I have embossed with Couture Crafts Entangled folder. I hand cut 3 banners and added the washi tape I finished  the card with a Joycrafts banner and paper flower as well as a greeting from Sticker Store. This month we have a guest designer for our Card Sketch Challenge at Craft Mad . This card was made by my sister in law Ruth for my birthday and I just loved it . Although the concept of 3 square is simple, the finished card is very effective especially with the addition of the circular die behind the smallest square.
