Blue Edge Crafts have a wonderful range of Laser Cut Cards. I have combined them with their Boutique Foiled 3d images which are basically pre cut to make this quick and simple card.
Today I would like to show you My Favourite Recipes Book which I made a little while ago. The album itself has been cut from 3mm craftwood (MDF), the edges painted and the pages covered with patterned paper then decorated. Each page shows a photo and instructions for a favourite family recipe. I have also inserted a clear acetate sheet to protect each page so that it is a working recipe book. A bit of a long post today but I hope you enjoy it. I entered my album in the Royal Queensland Show and was awarded Best Exhibit in the Scrapbooking Section.
Sticker Store is a wondeful source for stickers of all kind. I coloured this picture sticker with Copic pens then matted it with white green bazzill. The greetng and butterfly stickers are from the glitter peel off range.
Today I would like to show you a Wedding Album and Matching Box. The album is a Kaisercaft wooden album which I papered with Bazzill wedding paper from Blue Edge Crafts and decorated with hand made flowers, glittered alpha stickers and rhinestones. The box is a recycled box whic has been decorated to match the album. My album was awarded 1st prize at the Royal Queensland Show
Happy Australia Day to everyone. I have chosen a scrap page today depicting a few Australian destinations, Canberra (old Parliament House), Port Macquairie (old Court House,) Morpeth (original Arnotts biscuit factory), Ballarat ( Sovereign Hill) and Palmview ( Ettamogah Pub)
I have a thank you card to show you today. The card is made from cream Bazzill with a piece of patterned paper from my stash. I have also used Spellbinders plain and scalloped circles and Creatables weaving border and Creatables flora die cuts all available from Blue Edge Crafts
I love the colours in this Handbag and Card set. The paper is Birch Water Fun Glitter paper. The tutorial for this can be found on the home page of Craft Mad
This drawer box was made as a Christmas gift. I believe it is from SplitcoastStanpers. I used Alison Ellis Paper, Spelbinders dies for the frame, Joycraft dies for the butterflies and eCraft for the birds and swirls.
Another miniature shop to show you today. This time our Haberdashery Shop, once again the shop and fittings were built by Ron. All of the fabric bolts, wool skeins, cotton reels and ribbon rolls are handmade. The shop was awarded 1st prize at the Queensland Royal Show and was on loan the Brisbane Museum to for an exhibition. I hope that you enjoy it.
I had planned to show you another Flippen Womens card which I sent to our very dear friend for her birthday today, however it seems that I forgot to photograph it before I posted:) so I chosen this card to say Happy Birthday Elva, hope ypur day is extra special
I love the Flippen Series and have managed to find a lot of themes suitable for family and friends. I think the Craft Room has to be my favourite. Thsi card was awarded 3rd place at Royal Queensland Show.
I have used a Laser Cut card and Alison Ellis Eastern Elements Earth paper both from Blue Edge Crafts for this card. Unfortunately the photo doesn't capture the metallic gold in this beautiful paper.
I had this beautiful piece of paper in my stash for a while before I decided just how I was going to use it. I cut around the photo of Jay playing on the beach and it all just seemed to blend in with the background. I added Cuttlebug alphas and some shells. I also added a little bit of sand along the front edge.
Today I would like to show you the Memory box I made for my hubby Ron. I used a recycled chocolate container and jewellers tins. To each tin I added photos, charms and other items that best described Ron and his interests. I was thrilled to be awarded 1st Prize and Best Scrapbboking Exhibit at the Royal Queensland show for this project.
I have used Alison Ellis' Oriental series paper for this card. I embossed the background using a Cuttlebug Plum Blossom folder and added a 3d image from a Prestige Pearl Floral sheet from http://blueedgecrafts.com.au/ and edge and butterfly stickers from http://stickerstore.com.au/
I enjoy beaded knitting although I haven't done any in a while. My hubby says it is because I have to sit still while I do it. I wonder what he means by that. I hope that you enjoy seeing my bride and bridesmaids.
Good morning, today I would like to share a couple of cards made using Alison Ellis Flights of Fancy paper and beautiful 3d Fantasy Fairy sheets, both from Blue Edge Crafts
I guess I have been going through a bit of a stage with Explosion boxes. They are so versatile and I do love them. This one was made with the eCraft machine using Alison Ellis paper which is simply beautiful.
Before Christmas slips too far in to our memories for this year, I would like toshare our Santas Workshop with you. Ron was awarded1st Prize at the Royal Queensland Show for this piece
