Crafty Kayes Room

Just finished this cute Diamond Dot picture of a Puffer Bird. Very sparkly in real life.   

My friend came to visit recently for a long awaited catch up.  she brought with her a couple of kits for my sister-in-law, who was also visiting from interstate, and myself to make this beautiful butterfly card.  This is the card closed with belly band on. This is the card which opens to a beautiful spray of butterflies.  Thank you Tracey and it was so good to see you.

Our village recently took part in Australia's Biggest Morning Tea to raise money for the Cancer Council.  We decorated our hall in the colours of the Cancer Council. Our local Councilor Sandy Landers was present and donated a beautiful cake and asked our oldest resident Barry to cut the cake. Ou residents donated all the food for morning tea as well as the decorations and raffle prizes and were also very generous with their cash donation. We raised just under $1400 and had a fabulous morning.  I made some decorations for the tables.  95 Small pillow boxes with sweets as a thank you gift, donation jars, Cancer ribbons and sweet baskets. We are already planning for next year.

                             Our Craft Mad Monthly Swap was to make cards featuring lace  This is my second card for my partner. We had to add coloured lace for this card so I added some black lace around the edge of the picture.
