Something a little different to day I made this decorated Ostrich egg as a wedding gift for my daughter. The outside of the egg is encrusted in beads and the stand is hand painted .

A special Happy Birthday to our nephew Dave. Hope you have a great day . Today I thought I would share another of my favourite eggs with you .  This one is an ostrich egg which has been cut and the doors hinged. I lined it with satin and added a little bear ornament. The bears on the outside were cut from felt

A decorated egg today. This is my clown egg. Ron has cut a triple opening and the egg has been painted, braided, the clown ornament added and I have also added coloured rhinestones on the outside to resemble balloons.

Today I would like to show you another of my egg collection. I call this one my Angel Egg and it has been cut  from an ostrich egg.

Today I would like to show you one of my favourite eggs shaped as a tea pot with Mum and Baby swan inside.

I have combined my passion for bears and the beautiful craft of egg decorating for this project. I bought this as a kit on a trip interstate some years ago and it has remained another favourite of mine. The bear is pure wool and his body is an ostrich egg. This is one of my favourite eggs. Ron cut and joined the eggs to resemble a circus tent. We added ceramic clowns to each tent. The front of the board shows the circus animals, merry go round and ticket box and gate. We recently donated this egg to our local hospital to hep raise funds for the Cancer Clinic who care for Ron so well .

Of course it isn't Easter without some eggs. These Spring Bonnets have been cut from goose eggs, painted, decorated and attached to the stands. I made this egg for my hubby Ron who was a firefighter for 30 years. He cut the egg with an oval opening at the front and a helmet shape at the back.

This egg has been cut from two ostrich eggs one for the skirt and the other for the overskirt. The overskirt has been completely handbeaded. This was one of my entries into the Royal Brisbane Show and was awarded 3rd prize.

This egg was designed and cut by Ron. We took the bottom out of the gazebo to place the eggs inside. The large egg is an Ostich egg and the internal one is a large goose egg.

This is one of my favourite eggs that I have made. It is cut from emu eggs, the neck is ceramic and I decorated it with silk roses.
