Sharing a 40th birthday card for my nephew with you today. I have used Tim Holtz papers and tags, unbranded circle dies, chipboard numbers which I painted black and finished with a Sticker Store greeting  and enamels.

Birthday Card for Ben

Image
A birthday card for our Grandson today. I always find cards for men a little difficult and  as Ben is in his early 20's I found that a bit more challenging. I have used a Cuttlebug embossing folder for a background topped with an unnamed banner die and Sticker Store greeting and stars.

Craft Mad Monthly Card Swap

Image
For our Craft Mad Monthly Card Swap in February we had to make a card and then replicate it in  a kit to send to our partner for them to make. This is the card I received along with  a kit from my partner, so pretty  This is the card I made from my partners kit. I added a glitter background sheet to make the stars pop. It is  along time since I have made shaker boxes so quite enjoyed the challenge .

Real Estate Cards

Image
As you may know I recently made the decision to sell our home and downsize. I soon found out that it is not all as simple as it seems and you definately need an agent who will steer you in the right direction and help keep you sane along the way. I was lucky enough to find this person in Rod Westerhuis from  Huis Estate Agents  so if you are in the Brisbane or surrounding areas area and thinking of selling give Rod a call , you won't be disappointed.  Recently Rod approached me to make cards to be given to clients after they had settled the purchase of their new homes.  I tried to keep the cards fairly simple using an unnamed die for the street sign, which will have the number of the home added after the sale and a Cheery Lyn Picket fence die. The for sale sign was a take on the actual sign and I used Kaisercraft stickers for the signage. http://www.huisestateagents.com.au/index.html

Beaded Bag Tags

Image
I just came across these while going through some photos.  I made these to add to Christmas parcels for friends. They can be used as key rings or add a bit of bling as a bag tag.

Moving House

Image
I recently moved from our home of 30 years into a village a couple of suburbs away.  After the long process of  selling and packing and garage sales and lots of self inflicted stress and anxiety, things are settling down nicely. Most of my boxes are unpacked and safely in their new homes but my craft room is still a work in progress. Hopefully this week will see my new craft cabinet installed and the rest of the boxes unpacked and then back into some serious crafting.  Have quite a few orders waiting to be done so I am quite looking forward to getting back into it and hopefully have a few more cards and projects to share with you.  For now, here a a few photos of my new home.
