Ronald Patrick McGrath  12/05/1938-12/03/2017 Last week my precious husband Ron passed away after a very long illness. He was farewelled by 100 + family and friends on Friday . Ron passion was the Fire Service and he spent 30 years as a firefighter and another 5 years as a senior fire education instructor with the seniors in our community, then 12 years as an examination assessor with junior fire fighters at the Academy.   He will be always loved, always missed and never forgotten.

Julie Nutting Paper Dolls Card

Image
Today I would like to share a card I made from the Julie Nutting Paper Dolls paper kit . It is a wonderful kit which includes 12x12 paper, stickers and tags and you really don't need a whole lot of other items to make some really sweet items. I just added a couple of  Spellbinders die cuts and a couple of rhinestone to complete this card

Calendar

Image
My brother recently had his 70th birthday so I made him a calendar using the Couture Creations Australiana range of dies.  I cut a windmill, water tank, fence and the Holden ute which I rusted up with some ink and added a patterned paper background behind the calendar.  Thank you for visiting my blog this week.

Julie Nutting Doll House

So yes, I guess I am still a child at heart. I love the Julie Nutting doll stamps and now I was given this beautiful Paper Dolls paper pack for Christmas. I have had the little case for some time trying to decide what to do with it so I thought the paper teamed up so well with it. I hope you enjoy my little trip back to childhood :)

Craft Mad Monthly Swap

Image
The theme for our monthly card swap at Craft Mad was to create your own background. This is my second card for my partner and I will admit to not being overly excited about it however at the moment I am pretty busy with a sick husband so crafting time is a bit short these days. Luckily I swapped with a very understanding partner  I used a Spellbinders die for my background and Spellbinders butterflies and flowers cut form glitter card. Finished with a Sticker store greeting.
