Beautiful Butterflies

My friend came to visit recently for a long awaited catch up. 

she brought with her a couple of kits for my sister-in-law, who was also visiting from interstate, and myself to make this beautiful butterfly card. 

This is the card closed with belly band on.


This is the card which opens to a beautiful spray of butterflies.

The theme for our monthly swap at Craft Mad was Bakers Twine. I must admit it is one of those things that sit in my craft room and don't often get used so this was the perfect opportunity. This is the first card that I will be sending to my partner. I started with a 4x6 white card, added a layer of  patterned paper, spellbinders scalloped oval.hand cut embellishments, buttons, charms , bakers twine and printed ribbon tape. Lego London

Something a little different today. My son and his wife gave me this Lego kit for my birthday. All the famous tourist attractions in London  I just love it and brought back great memories of a trip I did with  my husband some years back.
