Crafty Kayes Room

  Sadly we have needed a few sympathy cards recently. I would like to share a couple with you. The first is very simple and I have has made use of several Sticker store products as well as Spellbinders dies and embossing folders.       The second has and embossed layer over a plain layer and a Hearty Crafts image as well as a tag made with Spellbinders dies and a Sticker Store greeting

  A pop up card from a Simply Crafts File today, excellent for a handy man. It was cut on the Klic n Kut Zing and I also used a Cuttlebug embossing folder and a Sticker Store greeting.         Thank you for visiting my blog this week.

Happy Birthday to my little brother Geoff Hope your day is extra special xxx.     I made a box card for Geoff. I really love how you can personalise these cards to a theme that reflects the person.       It is also Australia Day here in OZ so I hope everyone enjoys their celebrations today.

The Nutcracker Suite is one of my hubbys all time favoutites.  In the days leading up to Christmas he was in Palliative Care for  a short stay so I made this little guy to cheer him up.  I have used a SVG Cuts File and Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet papers.      

    I made this Christmas Lantern for myself :) It is an SVG Cuts file and cut on the Klic n Kut Zing. I couldn't find an electric candle like the original so for now I have put a tea light into the lantern. I have used black card and black glitter card for this project.

I just love this explosion box and I think it will become a favourite for family and friends birthday It is a Dreaming Tree file cut on the Klic n Kut Zing         The party hat lifts off and there is a box to hold a little surprise.      Thank you for visiting my blog this week.  

These are the calendar stands which  I made for Christmas gifts. I have used Ultimate Crafts Australiana dies for the car, tree and fence and the calendar is Couture Creations      

I made quite  a few of these cute tea sets for various friends. The idea was from a pattern that was sent to me however I am sorry I cannot credit the original maker. I cut the the tea pots on the Klic N Kut and added a spellbinders die behind them. Inside holds tea bags tea spoon sugar and of course chocolate  :)        

Another gift for a friends birthday A giant cotton reel to which I have added lots of sewing notions . Inside holds a Happy Birthday stamp in the shape of a sewing machine.     Thank you for visiting my blog this week. 

  A gift for my cheffy daughter today. A set of Tea Pot bookends to hold her cook books. The bookends are from Kaisercraft  and have been painted and covered with patterned paper.                      

  After my friend  had been for a visit, I found  a little note attached to a photo of this card in a magazine saying she would like it for her birthday. I have used Graphic 45 paper to make the a copy of the card for her.       Credit to Shanna Bartle for this beautiful card .

Before we put Christmas to bed for another year I would like to share a few of the gifts I made for family and friends.     I made several sets of these ornaments for gifts for family and friends.  They are from Dreaming Tree Papers are a mixture of Graphic 45 Christmas ranges.       Packed them up in boxes on a bed of shred.   Thank you for visiting my blog this week.    

  This is my second card for my partner in the Craft Mad Monthly Card Swap . I have used a Doodey Santa stencil and added Aileens glitter snow and a Sticker Store greeting.  

  The Craft Mad Monthly Card Swap theme for December was Stencilling ....something I am no expert at but I tried. I used a Crafters Companion stencil and a Spellbinders die cut and finished with a Sticker Store greeting.    

I guess not many people are thinking about next Christmas as yet but it is time to start the new  Christmas All Year Round Sketch Challenges for 2017. Once again a very simple card to get you started.      

Starting off a new year on the Craft Mad Card Sketch Challenges. I know everyone is busy so I have made  a very simple sketch for January. I have used  Couture creations paper and a punched flower and finished with a Sticker Store greeting
