Royal Queensland Show Entry A House Within a House This is one of my entries onto the Royal Queensland Show. I have made it from a tutorial by April from Craftknife Chronicles. I was thrilled to find out it had won 2nd prize in the Off the Page Scrapbooking class. Warning ...lots of photos I really want to show you all the different sides to this wonderful structure. Although it took a long time to make I really enjoyed it. The papers are from a Tim Holtz pad. The side panel slides out and I chose to make my shadow box into a miniature house This is a close up view of the shadow box
This is my third entry for the Royal Queensland Show. I was thrilled to find that it was placed first and Best Exhibit in the Scrapbooking section. My late hubby Ron would have been so excited. He was greatest critic and often chose the projects for me. St Nicholas' chair is made from a tutorial by Magda Cortez. I have used Graphic 45 St Nicholas papers and tags. The front of the chair opens to reveal an album inside under the seat. Inside the album cover is two more mini albums The back of the chair.
I made this loaded envelope for my daughters birthday. It is the first of what I think will be many because I have a feeling they could become very addictive. It is also a great way to use up lots of bits and pieces from your stash. The paper I used is mainly Kaisercraft and all the embellishments are a mixture of items form my collection. This is the front of the envelope. I made 3 chipboard tags and covered and decorated them. I also decorated 3 different sized envelopes and added some money and other goodies to them. This is a DL sized envelope and I attached 2 pairs of crystal earrings to a card to go inside this one. I had read somewhere that you are supposed to add a rosette on a stick into your loaded envelope ...I am really not sure why know so I made a rosette using a Tim Holtz die and added it to a ribbon covered straw and another to a paper doily. I also made the paper clips just by gluing embellishments onto them This
