  Sharing our Craft Mad Monthly Card Swap for March. We are concentrating on different types of card folds for this half of the year . This month is a Concertina Card . Once again not a card I have made very often but I did enjoy doing it and also not as hard as it first seemed.

I send some of my craft work to a tourist shop in Outback Queensland . I have made these water bottle covers as I believe it does get very cold  out there in the winter so hopefully the travellers might appreciate  a toasty water bottle on a cold night.  

Lots of birthdays recently amongst my family and friends.  This one is for my friend and I believe the paper  is from the Stamperia range.  

I was browsing in a department store recently and came across a water colour kits containing all the necessary item to create 10 cards and 10 A4 matching panels. Although I am no artist I thought I would try them, a real bargain for $4 .  

I made this Easel card to celebrate my friend's birthday recently.    

Our second card for the Craft Mad Monthly Swap last month  was to use items we received as part of our Secret Santa gift last year. My gift was full of lovey goodies like tape runners, tweezers, magnets  and all sorts of very useful items so I used a lot of them to construct my card.  

  Our Craft Mad Monthly Swap for last month was to make a  Pinwheel Tower Card.  I had never made this type of card before  and it was a lot easier than I had anticipated.  This was my card to my partner.  

Another card to share from the Craft Mad De Cut Swap last year. I simply added patterned panel and leaf branch , also from the swap,  a butterfly and a greeting.   

This month the theme for the Craft Mad Monthly Card Swap was Anything Goes  Suited me very well as I had family staying and has also been laid low with illness. Fortunately in my stash I had a card kit from Kaisercraft so I used  the cards , papers and ephemera to make my cards for my partner.   This is the second card for my partner.

My Friend and Neighbour is an avid Collimgwood Football Club supporter .  I guess avid is not a strong enough word to describe the passion.  So a birthday meant a special Collingwood card. I made a pop up box Card and scoured  the internet for appropriate additions . Was pretty happy with the final result   

Today I would like to share a miniature room box I built recently . I have made a few changes along the way, sometimes things just don't go to plan. My friend and I call this ad - libbing rather than mistakes , However I am quite happy with the finished product and it will be off to a new home soon.    

I have purchased a few of these geometrical background dies  but not really played with them until now. I do like the finished effect and of course several cards can be made  from one selection of  3 papers .  

I was sent a lovely lot of die cuts in a swap last year and started  having a play around with them the other day.  I particularly liked this one, so it was my first finished card. Only simple but I think it is effective .    

Just a quick flashback to Christmas with a project  I never quite did get finished in time. Cut little Santas boot made from pretend Lego .  It is supposed to be a pen holder but I guess it has multiple uses

My second card for December swap was Tic Tac Toe. From the provided grid  I chose paper piecing, Santa and glitter.  Santa was a die which I paper pieced and used glitter card for the white parts.     

Our first swap card from  December was to case a sketch from 2016. This is my completed card   

Every year our Craft Mad group have a Secret Santa with a theme.  This year it was craft tools.  I received a lovely parcel of various glues, tapes,  tweezers,  so many handy items for our card making.    In return I sent a similar parcel with however I can't share here as that would be telling 😉    

Happy Australia Day to my family and friends.   I hope you all have a fun filled day planned to commemorate our wonderful country.  Here at the village we have a day of fun and games followed by meat pies and lamingtons and damper.   In my family we also celebrate Geoffrey Day today .Happy birthday to my little bro . Hope your  day is extra special.       

At the end of last year our Craft Mad group decided to do a calendar swap  This is the calendar I made to send to my partner . It pens up to reveal a post it note pad for those important reminders .  

Something a bit different today. A rather large pencil case with a rather large dinosaur  riding a skate board.  Why Not ?  I am sure a little person will love this .
