Craft Mad Meet Up and Weekend Retreat

During the past Labor Day weekend we held our first Craft Mad Meet Up and Weekend Retreat In Brisbane and what a wonderful weekend we had.
 
In the coming days  I will show you some more photos of our projects etc but here is a little sneak peek of a table centrepiece for our lunch table. It was originally made for my birthday so I made a few changes to suit the occasion.

Craft Mad Monthly Swap

The theme for our monthly swap at Craft Mad was Bakers Twine. I must admit it is one of those things that sit in my craft room and don't often get used so this was the perfect opportunity. This is the first card that I will be sending to my partner. I started with a 4x6 white card, added a layer of  patterned paper, spellbinders scalloped oval.hand cut embellishments, buttons, charms , bakers twine and printed ribbon tape. Lego London

Something a little different today. My son and his wife gave me this Lego kit for my birthday. All the famous tourist attractions in London  I just love it and brought back great memories of a trip I did with  my husband some years back.
