Vase of Flowers

To finish the week I would like to show you a cute little vase of flowers made from a goose egg and the flowers all hand made from beads

Oh Kaye that is beautiful and so decorative What did you use to colour the egg with and did you varnish afterwards??

Thank you Lynn I have used a metallic paint, sorry I can't remember the brand. No I didn't varnish afterwards, just the finish of the paint.

Craft Mad Monthly Swap

The theme for our monthly swap at Craft Mad was Bakers Twine. I must admit it is one of those things that sit in my craft room and don't often get used so this was the perfect opportunity. This is the first card that I will be sending to my partner. I started with a 4x6 white card, added a layer of  patterned paper, spellbinders scalloped oval.hand cut embellishments, buttons, charms , bakers twine and printed ribbon tape. Lego London

Something a little different today. My son and his wife gave me this Lego kit for my birthday. All the famous tourist attractions in London  I just love it and brought back great memories of a trip I did with  my husband some years back.
