Crafty Kayes Room

I have always loved these papier mache mannequins and have had it in my mind for a long time that one day I would make one for myself. Well that one day arrived recently when I was given one for my birthday. I painted it black the made a skirt of paper petal which I cut from Graphic 45 Bird song paper using Spellbinders Jewel Goddess die, wrapped a large belt of tulle around the waist with an oversized bow at the back. Finished off with  lace collars, neckaces and a waistband of Green Tara flowers.                       

I decided to carry on and cover my recycled pen holders as well, once again using Graphic 45 Bird Song papers. and thisis how my desk is looking now Now I just need some spare time to fill them up. Thank you for visiting my blog this week  I hope you have enjoyed your time here.

This piece is not a new one but my "in progress" tray from my desk. I decided to revamp it as well.  I have once again used Graphic 45 Bird Song papers, a wooden word and punched butterflies.

I have turned the two fold car don  it's side to make this card look like a purse.  Once again I have added Spellbinders dies, Green Tara flowers, Doodey greeting and Cheery Lynn  Fanciful  Flourish. 

I love black and white so I have made this 3 step card using Bazzill papers and Spellbinders dies and paper flowers .  I am still a bit undecided whether  to embellish the card any further or just leave it as it is.

Another two fold card today using a different type of fold. Once again I have used papers and embellishments from my scrap box and a Spellbinders die and Green Tara flowers.

I have been playing with some two fold cards, maybe you know them as bifold cards. I have seen lots of cards on the internet made in this style so I thought I would add mine. I cut all the flowers from a piece of scrapbooking paper from my stash  and added Spellbinders dies and a Doodey greeting.   

My hubby built this beautiful miniature green house for me a little while back  However while vacuuming a couple of weeks ago I somehow managed to knock it off the cupboard and this was the result.   So I set a day aside and got to work to see if I could repair it . After several hours and lots of glue and patience :) it all came together really well.  I did have to make a few little changes but I don't think they are too noticeable.     Have  a great weekend and thank you for visiting my blog

I recently had a birthday and I would like to share some of the lovely hand made cards I received. The first was  made by Ruth I love the papers she has chosen.    This one is from Mandy  Lovely die cuts and a beautiful verse The next one was made by Therese My favourite Graphic 45 paper and a very elegant card This one was made by Thea and she has used beautiful rice paper I love every one of these cards, all made by very talented ladies.
