My very dear friend Elva celebrates her 80th Birthday today. 
Last week we celebrated with a group of friends and I would like to share some photos of the day.
This is the exploding box I made as a birthday card.
The paper is Kaisercraft.

The theme for our monthly swap at Craft Mad was Bakers Twine. I must admit it is one of those things that sit in my craft room and don't often get used so this was the perfect opportunity. This is the first card that I will be sending to my partner. I started with a 4x6 white card, added a layer of  patterned paper, spellbinders scalloped oval.hand cut embellishments, buttons, charms , bakers twine and printed ribbon tape.
