70th birthday card


I was asked to make a birthday card for a ladies 70th birthday and the only other thing I was told is that she liked cats.
I decided on an easel card .I embossed the background with a Spring Drop folder . added a Spellbinders Lotus Pendant and a white doily die and 3d image from Blue Edge Crafts and paper flowers. Finished with a Spellbinders tag and Sticker Store greeting.

The theme for our monthly swap at Craft Mad was Bakers Twine. I must admit it is one of those things that sit in my craft room and don't often get used so this was the perfect opportunity. This is the first card that I will be sending to my partner. I started with a 4x6 white card, added a layer of  patterned paper, spellbinders scalloped oval.hand cut embellishments, buttons, charms , bakers twine and printed ribbon tape.
