Crafty Kayes Room

Today I would like to share another of my beaded knitting dolls. I really love the colour of this one and enjoy this craft although it is fairly time consuming. the beads have to be transferred from their hanks onto the knitting cotton and  then very fine needles are used to knit the dresses.     

I have recently spent a bit of time finishing some UFO (unfinished objects) which have been sitting here in my craft room waiting for some attention. I bought this wooden shoe at a craft expo here in Brisbane quite some time ago and decided it was time to bring it to life with a bit of paint and paper. Easter Bonnet Brooch A cute little Easter Bonnet Brooch suitable for girls of all ages. You will need : Card   (colour of choice) Spellbinders scalloped circle die Spellbinders Circle die Flowers Ribbon Brooch pin Kindy glitz (optional)             Instructions Step 1: Cut 1 Spellbinders Scalloped circle die (I have used the 3 rd size up ) and 1 plain Spellbinders circle ( smallest size) Step 2 :   Cut a strip of card 1cm wide and long enough to go around the smaller circle. You need to glue this around the edge of the circle. I suggest doing a little at a time and letting it partially dry before continuing.     Step 3 :    When this has dried glue it to the centre of the scalloped circle. A special Happy Birthday to our nephew Dave. Hope you have a great day . Today I thought I would share another of my favourite eggs with you .  This one is an ostrich egg which has been cut and the doors hinged. I lined it with satin and added a little bear ornament. The bears on the outside were cut from felt   

Our daughter and her hubby recently moved into their new home so I couldn't resist this card. I cut it on the Klik n Kut Zing from a Birds Cards file and decorated it with Graphic 45 Bohemian papers. Thank you for visiting my blog this week. I hope you have enjoyed my creations. 

I made this altered spectacle case for a gift. I used Graphic 45  Typography paper and black Rhinestones The flowers are Spellbinders Rose Creations  I also made matching gift bag  using the same papers and Spellbinders Lotus die. Today I would like to share another big tag I made recently. I started with a white tag which I layered with pink linen card,. I added a Hobby House image,  lace, a  pearl flourish and Blossom flowers as well as an organza ribbon.  I would like to add this tag to the following challenge: Mod Squad Challenge Through The Craft Room Door
