Christmas Card Address Box

Here is a neat way to store your Christmas card list. I have also included a quick tutorial.

Box to hold your Christmas Card List

You will need:

1 box (deep enough to hold your index cards )

Patterned paper

Ribbons / braids

Christmas embellishments

2 Colours of Paint to match the paper

Double sided tape or glue

Alphabetical index cards

Remove the catch from the box for easier painting. Paint inside and out . I chose Santa red for the outside and Pistachio green for the inside

Cut patterned paper to fit the top and four sides of the box and also for the top and bottom of the inside of the box.

Attach with double sided tape, double sided jac paper, glue or modge podge.

Replace the catch.

Glue the ribbon/braid around the box on the paper and also a smaller one around the lid of the box.

Decorate the outside top of the box with Christmas embellishments of your choice. I printed the words “Christmas card list” and added it to a tag and attached to the lid and a verse for inside the lid.

Insert index cards and your box is complete.
