Crafty Kayes Room

I recently became the very happy owner of a Klik n Kut Zing so I am on a whole new learning curve.  This is my first attempt at cutting a design. Apart from my letters being a bit wonky I was quite happy with it and looking forward to learning lots more about it. Have  a great weekend. Be back next week with some Christmas ideas.

Today I would like to share a gift which I have made for a friend's birthday  I made the folder and covered it with patterned paper and Spellbinders trim, added the date and closures. On the inside I added a diary, note pad , sticky notes, calculator, pen and calendar plus  a photo of his much loved cats

My friend recently asked for some help to make some cards for her Granddaughter to give to her bridesmaids. All we had as a guide to what she wanted was " different colours". We spent a lovely day coming up with some ideas and I would like to share the finished cards with you We also decided to make a card for my friend to give to the bride . We used Spellbinders dies and embossing folder.

My Completed Projects   To finish off I would like to show you my completed projects . Such an interesting mix of craft this year. Thank you to everyone who attended and looking forward to next time. This is a little laser cut book which Tracey gave us to decorate I have used Graphic 45 Typography to decorate mine Inside the book.  I have added a note pad and decorated the cover  Beautiful flowers from Jan and Tracey  Thank you for visiting my blog and indulging me with my Craft Retreat photos. Gifts It has become a bit of  a custom to exchange gifts and I have shared photos of some of the goodies  that we swapped this year 

My friend Elva kindly helps me in the kitchen with the baking prior to our weekend so we made a special gift for her this year to show our appreciation. The entries in our card challenge.

Happy Birthday Michael Hope your day is extra special. Today I would like to share the cards I sent to my partner for the Craft mad Monthly Swap. The first card is a sideways easel . I have used paper from m stash, Spellbinders, Cheery Lyn and Joycraft dies. I decided on Christmas for the second  card as the theme was Glitter. Once again I have used Spellbinders dies and Cuttlebug background. My extra for this month was a Christmas tag.
