50th Birthday Card


I was asked to make a 50th birthday card for a relative of a lady in our village. 
No colour preference or style was suggested so  I went with this aqua and lilac theme.
I have used Poppys Crafts dies and a Cheery Lyn flourish as well as Sticker Store greetings and corners, The flowers are really a soft lilac colour but have photographed as very pink. 

I  also made a matching box.

The theme for our monthly swap at Craft Mad was Bakers Twine. I must admit it is one of those things that sit in my craft room and don't often get used so this was the perfect opportunity. This is the first card that I will be sending to my partner. I started with a 4x6 white card, added a layer of  patterned paper, spellbinders scalloped oval.hand cut embellishments, buttons, charms , bakers twine and printed ribbon tape. Lego London

Something a little different today. My son and his wife gave me this Lego kit for my birthday. All the famous tourist attractions in London  I just love it and brought back great memories of a trip I did with  my husband some years back.
