Building Bricks Ice Cream Van

A bit of  a different craft to share today.
My children surprised me with  a Lego set for Christmas last year . It was a bit of a joke/ payback for something I sent to them however I really enjoyed building it.
I recently bought this Ice Cream Van and although it is not Lego the principle is the same.
I made it over a couple of nights , just under 600 pieces and quite small at 15cms long and 5cms wide.
Lots of fun

The theme for our monthly swap at Craft Mad was Bakers Twine. I must admit it is one of those things that sit in my craft room and don't often get used so this was the perfect opportunity. This is the first card that I will be sending to my partner. I started with a 4x6 white card, added a layer of  patterned paper, spellbinders scalloped oval.hand cut embellishments, buttons, charms , bakers twine and printed ribbon tape. Lego London

Something a little different today. My son and his wife gave me this Lego kit for my birthday. All the famous tourist attractions in London  I just love it and brought back great memories of a trip I did with  my husband some years back.
