Diamond Dots Portrait




I finished this portrait of my son and daughter recently 
and it was waiting to be framed.
After 25,900 beads I was glad to see it done. I had recently completed 
one very similar for my daughter and also for my son and daughter in law,.
So I think beading will be having a rest for a little while. 😊

The theme for our monthly swap at Craft Mad was Bakers Twine. I must admit it is one of those things that sit in my craft room and don't often get used so this was the perfect opportunity. This is the first card that I will be sending to my partner. I started with a 4x6 white card, added a layer of  patterned paper, spellbinders scalloped oval.hand cut embellishments, buttons, charms , bakers twine and printed ribbon tape.
