Every month at Craft Mad we swap 2 cards with a partner. The theme for this month was Christmas in July. These are my cards

This is the last of my entries and it was for the  Papercraft section. Once again I have used Graphic 45 paper (which I just love ) The drawers under the easel card open and I have made gift tags to add to these. Thank you for visiting my blog this week.

This is my 12 Days of Christmas entry into the Christmas Decoration section at the Ekka. I used foam cones for the trees and Graphic 4 Christas Emporium paper which I cut into pieces and looped,pinned and glued. Each drawer contains a tag with an ornament attached to it. I am thrilled to find I have won 2nd prize for this entry. Thank you for visiting my blog this week. Please come back soon.

These are the mini albums from my bookcase which I showed you yesterday. Each album contains photos covering 25 years of our life together. I have labelled the albums and they cover things such as our wedding,family, friends, home, hobbies etc . Each album has a tag which tucks into a pocket a t the back with some journalling about the contents I am so excited at the moment asthe results have been announced and I was awarded 1st prize in the Off The Page section and Best Exhibit Overall in the Scrapbooking Section for this entry. This is album #1

My next entry is a decorated bookcase containing  8 mini albums celebrating our 25 years together.   I have decorated the book case using Kaisercraft papers and embellishments. I am so excited at the moment as the results have been announced and I was awarded 1st prize in the Off The Page section and Best Exhibit Overall in the Scrapbooking Section for this entry.                                                     I will upload the mini albums tomorrow

The Royal Queensland Show or the Ekka as we like to call it is beginning soon and I entered a few items in the Fine Arts Section. My first item is double page wedding spread. I have chosen to do my parents wedding . They were married during World War 2 and these are the only photographs we have of the occasion.

This card has been on my "to do list" for such a long time. The bird cage has been sitting on my desk for quite some time. It is a Becca Feeken  tutorial so I hope I have done it justice. My last Easel card is a Triple Heart Easel Card which is a pattern from Cardmaking Paradise . I have used Spellbinders Rose Creations Dies and a Cheery Lynn die for the flourish. Thank you for visiting my blog this week 

Our June swap at Craft Mad was to make two cards with scallops, buttons and flowers to send to our partner. My first card is square white card to which I added patterned paper from Papermania, then I punched a strip of white card with a Martha Stewart punch, added some lace, paper flowers with a button centre and Spellbinders plain and scalloped circles with a Doodey greeting.   My second card is a 5x7 sized card to which I added a layer of patterned paper, black linen card with a punched scalloped edge, Spellbinders Aster toppper flowers with detachable  button centres. I finished with an edge sticker and a greeting. I like to add a little "something" to my parcel so this month I made a little gift tag with the same theme for my partner.

For the Scrapbooking Sketch Challenge at Craft Mad this month we are continuing on with our album. I am so looking forward to seeing everyones completed albums. This month I have made a page for a page for our grandson Jamie.   

Our theme for the Christmas All Year Round Challenge at Craft Mad this month is glitter. I have used an ornament cut on the eCraft from glitter paper .

Time again for our monthly challenge at Craft Mad. This month our theme is butterflies. This is my card for the month.
