Birthday Cakes for the Boys x 4

Four of the men in our group at the Village held a shared birthday celebration recently.
 The rules were bring nothing and no gifts.
Well that didn't work very well. 
I decided to make each of them a mini birthday cake. 








I made cake toppers for each cake 


Packed them into boxes with their names and the topper on the box 
rather than the cake and a candle for each one.

Craft Mad Monthly Swap

The theme for our monthly swap at Craft Mad was Bakers Twine. I must admit it is one of those things that sit in my craft room and don't often get used so this was the perfect opportunity. This is the first card that I will be sending to my partner. I started with a 4x6 white card, added a layer of  patterned paper, spellbinders scalloped oval.hand cut embellishments, buttons, charms , bakers twine and printed ribbon tape. Lego London

Something a little different today. My son and his wife gave me this Lego kit for my birthday. All the famous tourist attractions in London  I just love it and brought back great memories of a trip I did with  my husband some years back.
