Christmas Village Decoration


Lots of photos on this post.
I have been wanting to do a triple tray Christmas decoration for some time 
and now I find myself with a little extra spare time to play 
...which is just lovely ... I decided it was time.

I purchased a 3-tier serving tray and added green grass and snow, 
fences and ladders for Santa to climb, made lots of houses, decorated trees, added lampposts, people, animals and of course Santa with presents and my Christmas Village was born
I added fairy light all the way through each tier so looks really pretty at night.

Craft Mad Monthly Swap

The theme for our monthly swap at Craft Mad was Bakers Twine. I must admit it is one of those things that sit in my craft room and don't often get used so this was the perfect opportunity. This is the first card that I will be sending to my partner. I started with a 4x6 white card, added a layer of  patterned paper, spellbinders scalloped oval.hand cut embellishments, buttons, charms , bakers twine and printed ribbon tape.
