My Miniature House

Ron built this miniature house for me many years ago. AT that time he made all  the windows for it and we used a sample wallpaper book we had begged from a local shop for the inside walls and all sorts of odd fabric for the floors. Recently Ron thought it deserved a make over so we stripped it down removed and replaced the windows, bought some lovely miniature wallpaper and carpet. We also replaced the furniture and I made new doonas etc .Here are some photos of the old (green and white)and the new ( cream and brown)

I love the renovations....the new colour on the outside of the house is lovely and warm. All the furnishings are even modernised. Terrific work both of you. :-)

The theme for our monthly swap at Craft Mad was Bakers Twine. I must admit it is one of those things that sit in my craft room and don't often get used so this was the perfect opportunity. This is the first card that I will be sending to my partner. I started with a 4x6 white card, added a layer of  patterned paper, spellbinders scalloped oval.hand cut embellishments, buttons, charms , bakers twine and printed ribbon tape. Holiday Scrapbooking

Back in Oz A few photos today of a trip to Melbourne and Tasmania. I lived in Melbourne for some time but definately enjoyed it more as a tourist  and we had a wonderful time in Tasmania  I could live there I think... if it wasn't so cold:)
