Lighthouse

As I mentioned yesterday was my hubby's birthday so today I would like to share the second gift that I made for him. 
He has always loved lighthouse so when SVG released their new Seaside collection I couldn't resist making one for him.

This is the finished project .


I have used Graphic 45 By The Sea papers 


I decorated with coloured sands, shell, ropes and stickers. 


The boats were part of the SVG kit and meant to be on a card. I cut them several times and made them 3d so they would free stand. The numbers on the sails are a mixture of Rons birthdate.
 I finished off by sitting all the items on a painted canvas.

The theme for our monthly swap at Craft Mad was Bakers Twine. I must admit it is one of those things that sit in my craft room and don't often get used so this was the perfect opportunity. This is the first card that I will be sending to my partner. I started with a 4x6 white card, added a layer of  patterned paper, spellbinders scalloped oval.hand cut embellishments, buttons, charms , bakers twine and printed ribbon tape. Lego London

Something a little different today. My son and his wife gave me this Lego kit for my birthday. All the famous tourist attractions in London  I just love it and brought back great memories of a trip I did with  my husband some years back.
