Royal Queensland Show - Lighthouse Gift Box


Another Papercraft /Gift Box entry for the Show and also one you may have seen on my blog before. 
I was awarded first prize in the Papercraft section for my entry.
 
The roof lifts off the house to reveal the gift box as well as the top of the lighthouse.
The very top of the lighthouse tower holds a  light which flashes.


I have used Graphic 45 By the Sea Papers for this project.
 
 
The boats were included in the file as a card pattern so I adapted them to 3d boats.

Craft Mad Monthly Swap

The theme for our monthly swap at Craft Mad was Bakers Twine. I must admit it is one of those things that sit in my craft room and don't often get used so this was the perfect opportunity. This is the first card that I will be sending to my partner. I started with a 4x6 white card, added a layer of  patterned paper, spellbinders scalloped oval.hand cut embellishments, buttons, charms , bakers twine and printed ribbon tape. Lego London

Something a little different today. My son and his wife gave me this Lego kit for my birthday. All the famous tourist attractions in London  I just love it and brought back great memories of a trip I did with  my husband some years back.
