Altered Canvas

 
 
I recently finished this altered canvas.
I have used a black canvas and added a sheet of cardstock which I have had for years just waiting for the right project. A photo of my beautiful daughter and a smaller one of her and me and embellished with rhinestone flourish and flowers.

The theme for our monthly swap at Craft Mad was Bakers Twine. I must admit it is one of those things that sit in my craft room and don't often get used so this was the perfect opportunity. This is the first card that I will be sending to my partner. I started with a 4x6 white card, added a layer of  patterned paper, spellbinders scalloped oval.hand cut embellishments, buttons, charms , bakers twine and printed ribbon tape.
